I feel like this week has flown right past me. I was at my cousin's for a couple of days helping her move & whenever we were free we watched so much tv (All American, Tell me a Story, Playing for Keeps, Scooby- Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost, some episodes of FBI and Aquaman). I finished a book too ( Pucked by Helena Hunting). Kindle gave me nine full length novels of seduction and romance in anticipation of Valentines Day. Darling, the seduction is real but i also like that the romance is realistic...you know, something relatable. Started the second book today (Shopping for a Billionaire by Julia Kent) & I think it's a bit slow but also it could be because I have been a bit distracted. I will read some more before i sleep & hopefully the pace will pick up. Last week I read between you and me by Lisa Hall which was captivating but in the last chapters she throws in a curve ball that had me skimming over the previous chapters seeing how i made assumptions concerning the main character, based on my experiences, that were totally false. It was such a good read. It reminded me of Sidney Sheldon's Angel in the Dark by Tilly Bagshawe. That book enticed & disarmed me & when I was done I felt manipulated.
