presumptuous much
Darling,
This week has been pretty taxing both physically & mentally. Yesterday I was actually tempted to call in sick because I was quite fatigued in the morning.TGIF! I have even been struggling with IF; haven’t done 16 hours once last Friday & I feel bad about it. I have averaged between 12 & 13 hours . Now I am trying to shake things up a bit by changing the times of day I eat, maybe that will help.
So last Saturday I went house hunting with this guy from work because he had offered. We went to Pangani but the houses there are so expensive & not even that nice. While crossing the road, severally, he tried holding my hand which I circumvented because BOUNDARIES . We went from house to house & I honestly had a good time until he made a comment about how he would be coming over to my place when I moved out . That threw me. So I proceeded to tell him how I think that a home is an intimate space & had no intention of inviting him over . Dude caught feelings. He said he could not believe that he was putting the effort to help me house hunt yet he would be never be invited over & I think he was being presumptuous & entitled especially since he offered to help. Now it is weird between us but that is okay.
I am looking forward to leaving work today so that I can just go home & chill. I finished watching Grand Hotel & Pennyworth in course of the week. Pennyworth I loved, Grand Hotel is just meh. The story line is a bit shallow for me. Been meaning to catch up on Suits & maybe also get Women who kill. BTW last evening mum was telling us about a fall she had before we got home & her head was hit by the shoe rack & it was scary but yet a reminder of why we should remain thankful. God is doing so much for us in the background.
